Growing up in my mom’s dress shop in New Bedford, I wasn’t just playing hide and seek between the fabrics. I was the kid who loved sorting receipts, imagining business ideas, and quietly dreaming about running my own thing someday.
Honestly, I’ve always been wired this way.
From a young age, I loved business innovation—thinking about customer journeys, storytelling, and building community.
By the ripe old age of eight, I was already figuring out how to monetize my New Kids on the Block posters. 😂
Turning hobbies into business plans just felt like second nature.
By 2016, that dream turned into reality when I opened the doors to my own hair salon.
Sounds like everything fell right into place?
Not exactly.
As the business grew, so did the pressure.
Before I knew it, I was caught in the cycle of constantly chasing the next thing—pushing myself to keep up with a version of success that didn’t really feel like mine.
From the outside, everything looked shiny.
On the inside, I was running on empty.
In 2018, everything caught up with me.
My mind and body were done keeping up with a life that wasn’t sustainable.
It forced me to slow down—and finally listen.
That pause led me somewhere I didn’t expect: into the world of holistic wellness, personal development, and mindset work.
It wasn’t just about getting "better."
It was about unlearning old patterns, reconnecting with myself, and realizing that business, body, and mind aren’t separate. They’re all part of the same conversation.
I started to see that building a business and building a life you actually love aren’t two different things.
They both require patience.
They both require trust.
They both ask you to keep going—even when the next step feels uncertain.
I’m sharing this because if you’re a female entrepreneur, you already know:
The road to building something meaningful can feel overwhelming—and pretty lonely sometimes.
There's no shortage of advice out there.
But what I needed back then (and what I believe in now) is this:
You’re allowed to define success on your own terms.
You’re allowed to take care of yourself while you build it.
You don’t have to do it all alone.
Today, that’s exactly what I help other solo entrepreneurs do:
Reconnect with what matters most.
Set clear, doable goals.
Build sustainable businesses that feel as good on the inside as they look on the outside.
And create momentum without losing yourself along the way.
If you’re ready to redefine success, get unstuck, and build something that truly fits who you are—you’re in the right place.
